Windows 10: windows 11 will not let me install adobe or drivers for my cannon printer

Hi I have recently purchased a chromebook go which now incorporates windows 11. I have spent most of the day trying to install adobe and printer drivers for my cannot MG3650. Windows 11 keeps on sending me the app store and wont install the drivers. Also it is not detecting my monitor. This system is an absolute nightmare. I reconnected my samsung chomebook and everything worked. Very frustating.

Cannon MG 5320 Printer/scanner Driver for Windows 11

I recently purchased a HP laptop the has Windows 11. The driver for the Cannon MG5320 printer/scanner I have does not recognize Windows 11. Is there a generic driver you recommend as Cannon indicates I must purchase a new printer yet the one I have works great and scans as well?

Please try the steps recommended below to uninstall printer software

Press Windows key + X, click Apps & Features or Programs and Features

Select your cannon printer.

Select Uninstall.

Press Windows key + R, type control, hit Enter

Open Devices and Printers.

In the Devices and Printers window look for your cannon Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”

Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.

Type printui.exe /s and click OK.

Click on Drivers tab.

Look for cannon Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.

Select OK.

Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.

Close Devices and Printers.

Proceed to reinstall the driver.

I'm sorry but none of this appears to work, the Cannon printer doesn't appear on the list of printers, look deeper and you find it but without any driver associated with it. Try and install an earlier version of the driver and windows stops the installation.

I had to up date or my accountancy software would not have run securely - but now I have what was a perfected good printer - lots of spare print cartridges and no way of using them.

I think you actually had a duty of care to test your product with various scenarios and to warn users of the likely effects that installation was going to have on add ons such as printers.
