Windows 10: Windows 11 Windows Defender page not available. Your it administrator limited access to...

One morning I had a popup from windows defender saying threats were found. I wanted to check in but I had this error. Searched everywhere about this issue, did almost everything ranging from deleting registry keys to policies, yet I couldn't get over it. I don't have a school or work account. I'm using windows 11 on an unsupported machine just the tpm 2.0 requirement, maybe that's why it created this problem. Thanks in advance!

Page not available IT Administrator limited access

I can't use any security function with window defender ( ex. scan folder with window defender, scan drive )

and now I want to use the function " controlled folder access " but show Page not available IT Administrator limited access same.

I use private network and my notebook. There is no admin at all. Why IT Administrator limited access me ?

And my window notification to encryption drive. Is this related?

You need to set GPO settings to Not Configured, that could hide the sections of Windows Defender:

Thank you for replying with the information, and I apologize for the delayed response.



Let’s try a couple of steps and see if we can fix the issue.



Method 1: Check in built-in administrator

1. Press Windows + S key together to open Search.
2. Now type CMD and select Run as administrator.
3. Accept the UAC prompts.
4. Type in the following commands one by one and hit Enter: net user administrator /active:yes

Method 2: Run Windows Defender Offline



Try running Windows Defender Offline and see if that helps. Refer the section Microsoft Defender Offline Scan from the article

Method 3: In-place upgrade



Try performing a repair installation. This will repair all the corrupted files and services on the system. You can refer the article
