    Windows 11 Wireless Projection Miracast Control Banner/Bar too small


    I was resizing the bar and it became accidentally too small. I can't make it bigger anymore. Is there any text file or anything else I can edit to manually make it bigger or reset its size to default?Thank you

    How to remove wireless projection banner

    Hi Debbie,

    My name is Nic and I am an Independent Advisor.

    Is your computer connected to the wireless display when you are using it?

    I suggest that you click on the PIN icon that is next to the Settings icon on the banner and unpin it.

    Note: the banner is designed similar to remote desktop connection where it will be removed when the wireless display is disconnected.

    I would request you to update the wireless and firmware drivers on your Computer as there is a possibility that basic drivers were installed after the update. Also make sure that visibility is turned on while adding the wireless display. Once
    the drives are updates, then try to connect the display. You can follow the suggestions provided in the articles:





    If you need any additional assistance, please write back with the following information:

    1. Have you tried connecting the TV to any other device?
    2. What is the make and model of the TV and Laptop?

    Win 10 Wireless Projection Banner Won't Disappear After Disconnecting

    One of my colleagues is having the same issue (different laptop and wireless display).

    That laptop is build 17763.348

    I see this in the release notes for 17763.348:

    • Addresses an issue that may cause the new Miracast connection banner to remain open after a connection is closed.
