    Windows 11 won't activate - Have old genuine Windows 7 product key


    Been using my old win 7 product key to install windows for year, currently have a new machine and tried to activate windows, but get an error code: 0xc004f050Not using my old machine anymore, so wondered how I am now able to active my license.Thank you!

    Windows 7 not genuine problem

    It seems like that's an OEM windows copy, it will do that the every time you reinstall the OS. If you have the key, next time you see the "not genuine windows copy" click it and choose to activate by phone, everything else is pretty straight forward as it explains step-by-step. If it doesn't work, then its highly likely that you got a Pirate copy.

    CAN WINDOWS 10 BE ACTIVATED WITH GENUINE WINDOWS 7 PRODUCT KEY

    I bought a laptop in 2011 with genuine windows 7 in it. Now it has a windows 10 say pirated one, can it be activated with that same old windows 7 product key.
