Windows 10: Windows 11, won't go into sleep mode!!!

My Alienware 15 R3 won't go to sleep, if I try and put it in sleep it will just turn the screen off and then remain on until i move my mouse or press a key and it turns on. My computer only turns the screen off, which is what happens when you turn the hard drive off.

What happens with that? It would require you to tap the power switch to wake the machine from the Hibernation state.

Windows won't boot back up from sleep

Check your power settings in the BIOS. Windows 7 sleep mode works fine. I wouldn't suggest disabling it. Why have your system sucking air and spinning drive if your not using it. I have seen some issues with some input devises not allowing the system to go to sleep. But Drone mentioned it
