Windows 10: Windows 11 won't update, reset, or reinstall - ALL TOTAL FAIL, All steps taken...

- ALL FAIL. DISM multiple times SFC irreparably broken. OS reverts functional but likely compromised. HelpSurface Laptop studio.Furthermore - microsoft sign-in from settings fails Ooops error after everything already indicates sucess, despite working in browser, despite approval of 2FA 2nd step on Authenticator.Also, this contact live chat getting redirected to "access denied" is REALLY getting on my nerves. This is not acceptable Lost 24 hours on this already. About to swear off Microsoft Windows forevermore in both personal and professional life. Would appreciate a call since phones

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.

When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
