Windows 10: Windows 11 Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller recognized only as a normal controller via bluetooth

Out of the box I connected my Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller via Bluetooth to my Windows 11 PC. It was detected as an elite controller.During gameplay I found that some button combinations would change the volume or take screenshots unexpectedly.I plugged the controller into my PC and opened the Xbox Accessories app, it prompted me to update the firmware.After updating the firmware I unplugged my controller and was forced to re-pair my controller to my PC. It now was only detected as an Xbox Wireless Controller.I re-connected my controller via cable, and set one of the paddles to WIN + R, with

Xbox Elite Series 2 controller losing connection pc

Hello ,

I using windows 10 os system and xbox elite series 2 controller.

When i pair with bluetooth 2 device Elite controller and stereo headphones

controller losing connection each 10 or 20 seconds but if headphones doesnt support

stereo it works normally.

I tested it many times.

Is there a any solution about the topic ?

Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller not recognized in Windows 10 Game Controllers panel

I just bought an Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller, trying to connect it wirelessly to my Windows 10 computer for use with PC games.

I'm able to pair it to the PC, both via Bluetooth and Xbox USB Dongle so that it is recognized in the Xbox Accessories app (and does work with some games such as Forza 4). But it is not recognized in the Windows "Game Controllers" panel (found via Windows key, type "Set up USB game controllers") when connected wirelessly (preventing it from working with some games such as Battlefield 3).

The controller is recognized in the "Game Controllers" panel only when connected via USB cable (and works with Battlefield 3), but the reason I bought it was to use it wirelessly (I already had a wired Xbox 360 controller).

I've tried uninstalling/removing/reinstalling the controller drivers etc, but no luck.

Any ideas are appreciated!

Elite series 2 controller

Hey folks! i recently got my elite series 2 and it works fine but. on windows it shows up as an xbox one controller

and in steam it shows up as that aswell.
I'm quite confused as to why.
