  2. Issues with windows 10 update.

Oh boy, the 1511 version of Windows apparently is one horrible release from Redmond! Big problems with various drivers, mostly Intel Graphics. Hyper-V on Pro edition does not create an administrator Group, so I have big problems running Visual studio emulators
when developing universal apps and it just crashes. The start menu behaves very weird sometimes. The maps app stops working after a while. The computer was running fine on Windows 10240, I had none of these issues. I have a MSI GE70 2PE Apache Pro laptop.
For now I will revert to Windows 8.1 until Microsoft releases a working version of Windows 10 instead of this piece of ****.

Are you saying Windows start menu is OK and Start10 is not? If so then sure it is a Start10 problem.

You could do a repair install as it only takes half an hour - it will not make anything worse and certainly I'd try that first.

You should bear in mind though that the start menu layout is stored under your user profile in %localappdata% which a repair install may not update. If Start10 are trying to look there for their information you may see no difference.

It would be interesting information anyway so I'd try it on one of the desktops and see.

One desktop had Universal Apps Menu hidden.
One desktop was a Start10 reinstall.
