Windows 10: Windows 1803 update causing battery drain quickly

after I updated windows 10 to 1803 update, I have noticed my laptop's battery drain quickly than ever, I am using Lenovo T460P,


I have tried all the options to update drivers OR update BIOS with no possible solution

Battery draining quickly

Just need to ask if someone is experiencing battery drain within a day for the HTC 7 mozart phone.



I just got a new phone, and it is draining battery very quickly.



How can I see if any application or any WiFi or GSP application is utilizing too much CPU that is causing high battery usage?

i have updated my laptop from w7 to w10. at W7 battery backup was very good. but after upgrade to W7 battery draining at high speed. kindly check and update to reduce the battery consumption of laptop.

 

Battery Dying Quickly?!?!

There are a lot of possibilities here, I'll run thru those that come to mind readily:

• Have you made any configuration changes (more frequent checks on e-mail can drain the battery faster, or changing to the screen from automatic brightness to high can likewise drain the battery quickly)?
  
• When you listened to the music, was it via BlueTooth headphones (these can deplete the battery fairly quickly)?
  
• The Weather Channel app can also be the cause if weather conditions changed frequently, requiring the system to accept frequent "pushes" of data from Microsoft.
  
• The fact that the phone is going slow is also indicative of something consuming a lot of resources, so I would also consider what other applications have been installed or upgraded recently, as they may be the culprit as well.

That's a good place to start. Let us know if you're able to whittle that list down...
