  1. Windows 1809 firewall issues

Prior to the update, everything worked fine. Now after the update, unless I put the network profile to 'Public', it is dropping packets to Exchange Online and to Windows Store, and who knows what else.

Everything is set to default and both Private and Public profile say "Windows Defender Firewall is on.", "Inbound connections that do not match a rule are blocked" and "Outbound that do not match a rule are allowed".

There are no outbound rules that are set to block, only allow.

No inbound rules seem to apply to this either.

Turning off the firewall doesn't even change it, it continues to drop packets even with "Windows Defender Firewall is off", and logs them to pfirewall.log the same.

    From pfirewall.log I get:

    2018-10-13 12:12:50 DROP TCP 192.168.1.102 184.84.37.134 50926 80 0 - 0 0 0 - - - SEND

for Exchange Online and Windows Store any time I try to update folders, or do anything on windows store. There is no reason for this to be happening, it did not happen prior to 1809, and has happened ever since I updated to 1809. This update is a trainwreck.

    :)

  3. Best free AV and firewall

Can Windows Firewall block outgoing connections yet? If not, it's one step above useless.

Look into Online Armor for a free firewall.
