Windows 10: Windows 1903 is running slow

I just installed Windows 10 Home 1903 yesterday and I wasn't having any problems with it then. When I turned my computer on this morning, I noticed it was taking a while to start up. The GUI is laggy and shutting down also takes longer. I have a HP Notebook 14-dk0022wm. This model has an SSD so it should it only take a few seconds to start up and shut down. I also can't rollback to a new version because my graphics driver won't work. Will Microsoft release a fix for this soon or am I screwed?

I would suggest you to run System maintenance troubleshooter.

Try the followings steps:

• 
  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.
  
• 
  Select "System maintenance"
  
• 
  Click next to run the troubleshooter.

The Run maintenance task checks issues that might slow down your computer's, such as how many users are currently logged on to the computer and whether multiple programs are running at the same time.

Follow the below steps.

• 
  Press Windows + X on the keyboard.
  
• 
  Select Control Panel.
  
• 
  Select Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Click on Run maintenance task under
  System and Security.
