Windows 10: Windows 1903 Update Stalls at 92%

Hi,

I've tried 5 times now to install 1903 and every time it gets through almost all of the process but on the final reboot it stalls at 92%. I've left it overnight but have to force a power down and then it recovers to the previous version.

I've updated motherboard bios and drivers and unplugged all USB devices except my keyboard and mouse.

Any help gratefully received!

Windows 10 update 1903 stalled

The Windows 10 feature update to version 1903 has been stalled at 88% for over 4 hours. This is the second attempt - the first downloaded, but failed to install. Does anyone have a solution?

Edit: The Windows Update Troubleshooter did not detect any problems.

 

Windows 10 update stalling at 92% for past six hours

Upon installing updates to my windows10, the process had somehow stalled for six(6) hours at 92%. Files copied, features and drivers installed but configuring settings had upon attaining 70% had remained so for the past six hours. Don't know what to do.
Shall I continue to wait, does it take this long?

When you say 'update to Windows 10 stalling at 99%' are you referring to upgrade to Windows 10 is stuck or unable to update Windows to different builds?

If you are referring to Windows updates then follow the steps and check.

Run the Update Troubleshooter on the computer.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Update. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Windows update.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on Troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Windows Update troubleshooter.
• Restart the system and check if the issue is resolved.
