    Windows 2004 - 19041.329: HDD very slow


    After installing the latest update on top of 2004, the disk is taskmgr shows 100% utilization all the time, even when total activity is below 1 MB/s. Overall machine performance is very slow as well

    I am running Build 19041 and I usually am FAST on Insiders Settings. Now I cannot change from slow to fast.

    It is possible that your
    HDD was unreadable
    causing the error message to appear. We recommend that you perform these troubleshooting steps and check if there are any changes:


    • Shutdown
      your
      PC.

    • Unhooked
      the
      HDD
      and
      turn on
      your
      PC.

    • Reconnect
      your
      HDD
      and
      restart
      your
      PC.

    If the issue persists, we suggest that you contact your
    laptop/computer's manufacturer
    for further assistance.
