Windows 10: Windows 2004 and 20h2 installed but running on 2004

Still running on 19041.804 Windows 2004 despite have 20H2 apparently installed according the system update but cannot find on control panel the KB related to the 20H2 installation package . Windows update is trying to install something but I'm having the message :

"Error encountered .

There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: 0x80073701"

Have tried to download the 20H2 from Microsoft catalog again and also is falling every time. Used the DISM and cleaned up possible health problems and is now 100% operational now. After restart , had the same message. Don't know what to do from here. Any suggestions ?

Feature Updates Windows 10, version 2004

1909 was just automatically updated to 2004, instead of 20H2

Feature update to 2004 slipped by me even though the (optional) update to 20H2 was already listed in settings/windows update. Why didn't WU simply download the 20H2 fixes with 2004? I can't believe my system has suddenly been classified as incompatible, not if 2004 is good to install. Will the enablement package be offered next tuesday? I have checked for updates manually and it doesn't find it.

 

1909 to 2004 upgrade

The 20H2 iso is available for download (see News section), so that naturally 'includes' 2004. This is a step preceding 20H2 becoming available by Windows Update in place of 2004; presently you'd be offered 2004 by WU then the 20H2 enablement package. All downloads are available following the relevant article in the News section.

It's an evolving scenario following the pattern of 1903/1909.
