Windows 10: Windows 2004 update stuck at 31%

Discus and support Windows 2004 update stuck at 31% in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I've been trying to install the 2004 update now about 20 times.     Windows 2004 update stuck at 31%


    I've been trying to install the 2004 update now about 20 times. The last 5 times I have looked at the logs and it always hangs at the same place. It translates to 31% in the UI when running from a usb device or iso. When run with the update assistant it hangs at 99% but the progress from about 50% to 99% takes almost a day, I guess the progress increaeses on time, not only real progress, as nothing is happening 0% cpu and disk activity and nothing is written in the log after 50% progress.


    I tried desperately renaming the C:\WINDOWS\system32\catroot\{f750e6c3-38ee-11d1-85e5-00c04fc295ee}\oem17.cat file and that made the update write a few additional lines in the log but then nothing more.


    I've tried:

    * Disabeling conxant sound drivers as that was suggested in a few places

    I'm kind of lost here. Any suggestions?

    Windows 10 2004 update stuck at 31%

    Since 2004 update has been released, I decided to have my computer updated. I use the media creation tool to attempt, but it stuck at 31% in the process which texts are in the top-left corner. I have waited for over 36 hours, but it just stuck on there.

    I have read this article
    https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/cannot-install-windows-version-2004-help/9f62690c-8775-455d-9adf-0c5ab73264fe?page=2     but my computer does not have any BIOS updates, and I couldn't find any sentences that imforms me to delete a driver.

    My computer is Lenovo U410, i5 3337U, with 8GB RAM.

    Windows 10 2004 Update is stuck at 31%

    So the thing is, Windows 10 on my pc was not working well already tried DISM, did not worked. Every thing available on blogs and community related that didn't work, at last I reset my PC. Installed 2004 with ISO, Working Well. ✌️

    Windows 2004 update installation process stuck at 31%

    Hello

    I'm having a problem while trying to update Windows 10 from 1909 to 2004.

    The installation process gets stuck at 31% for a very long time and the CPU and Disk usage goes down to normal (2% CPU - 0 to 1% Disk usage), I've tried to cancel the installation process but it also stuck at (Please wait while setup is exiting) for a very
    long time (longer than 30 minutes) which made me force restart the Laptop.
