Windows 10: Windows 2016 server crashed after patching

After Patching a physical Windows 2016 server, reboot and stuck at loading screen with error "Fatal Error C0000034 Applying Update Operation".I following many suggestions online, but nothing seems to be working.Now the server is looping and stuck at same screen but without error code anymore.I tried to find Microsoft support number to call for help, but can't find any.Any one know what is going on with the server?

MS16-039 patches for Windows Server 2016

Dear Sir,

I have an Windows Server 2016. After I scan with Nessus (Tenable). It is found that quite some .NET framework vulnerabilities. However some of the findings I cannot found any patch for Server 2016.

Take example as MS16-039, I cannot find any information that there is a patch for Windows Server 2016. Also cannot found if there is any other patches already superseded.

Could you show me where that I can find whether:

1. Windows Server 2016 is not affected, or

2. There is already a superseded patch installed in Windows Server 2016

Windows Server 2016 Upgrade

When updating from windows server 2012 R2 to server 2016, I'm not getting the step by step procedures where you can select keep file and apps and other steps. I just get the setup screen, which after couple of minutes it display a window to select what type of windows server you want to install.

Once selected it does a full install of windows server 2016, which re-images the C drive. Afterwards you have to re-install all your applications.

Any suggestions on why it doesn't go through the step by step procedures.

Windows Server 2016 Security Patch Failure

Hi Guys,

I recently have run in to a problem, where Latest Microsoft server 2016 security Patches installation failed.

In the Event Log , there is Error

Event 20: Installation Failure: Windows Failed to Install the following update with error 0x800736B3. Security update for windows (KB5023788).

I have performed following

1) sfc /scannow

2) DISM scan health and found 2 corruptions and fixed it, but still unable to install the latest security patches

Please note , our environment doesn't have internet connectivity and we install Patches Manually

Current Build version is windows server 2016 14393.5427

Please Advise on how to fix this patch installation failure and proceed further
