Windows 10: Windows 2019 Server – stuck on Working on updates, 100% complete

Good day all, I have a server running Windows 2019 and is stuck on the ‘Working on updates, 100% complete, Don’t turn off your computer’This server had windows updates which I started yesterday afternoon, then restarted as normal, and since then has been sitting at this screen since yesterday. I have shut down and restarted this computer multiple times to try and get around this issue but nothing has resolved it. In the meantime, while this is sitting on the console server, the drive maps, DNS, print sharing is all working and the users are having no issues at all. Anyone got some id

Last year at Ignite, we announced Office 2019 – the next perpetual version of Office that includes apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Skype for Business) and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business). Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

• Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
• Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
  • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
  • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
  • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
• The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.

 

Server move completed

We finally completed our server move. The specs of the new server are:

• Dual Xeon 2.8 GHz, HT & EM64T enabled
• 2GB Dual Channel DDR2
• SCSI HDDs
• 100 MBit connection
• Fedora Core 4, PHP5, MySQL4

This should greatly reduce load times. Sorry for the downtime/unreachable problems. If you spot any other issues please let us know immediately.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
