Entrei por engano no Programa Insider. Porém, essa versão é estável?Não consigo fazer a reversão ao Windows 11 original, nem com mídia externa.Uso meu pc no dia a dia.

What is the Windows 10 Windows Feature Experience Pack?

As Microsoft continues to expand the pool of people who are getting the Windows 10 May 2020/2004 update automatically, it's also expanding the group that will have something called the "Windows Feature Experience Pack" installed on their machines. Given this feature pack, which has been known about since at least December 2019, is coming to users' machines en masse, you'd think Microsoft would be sharing more about what it is and why it's there. But nope.

I asked again this week about the Feature Experience Pack. A spokesperson provided the official response: "Microsoft has nothing to share."

So, what about an unofficial response? I've been asking around and got some information about the Windows Feature Experience Pack.

You can see the Windows Feature Experience Pack listed as one of the Features on Demand for Windows 10 and Windows Server. This list also includes Internet Explorer, Notepad, the DirectX Configuration Database, Paint, PowerShell ISe, Quick Assist, the Print Management Console, and more. The Windows Feature Experience Pack, listed as available on Windows 10 version 2004 and later, "includes features critical to Windows functionality." Microsoft advises users not to remove this collection of Windows client shell components, which is 44.15MB in size...

What is the Windows 10 Windows Feature Experience Pack?

Personally i find the segmentation of the "parts" of Windows, like Windows Feature Experience Pack, or the new Edge, and other parts good.

This means eventually when it comes to version upgrades, only the core layers of Windows will be updated, which might make most upgrades "boring" unless they need to add a new container, or abstraction layer for a new functionality or API support.

Is this features pack listed in all apps as uninstallable ?
I remember they added some other features pack or similar long ago and it showed up in the apps list for some odd reason.

KB5001460 Windows Feature Experience Pack for Windows 10

Hello Windows Insiders,

Today, we are releasing Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0 to Windows Insiders in the Beta and Release Preview Channels. For Windows Insiders in the Release Preview Channel, this will be an optional update for you.

NOTE: This update will NOT be offered to commercial devices in the Release Preview Channel. These devices are devices AAD-joined and/or running the Windows 10 Enterprise edition. These customers will get Windows Feature Experience Packs delivered through “C” Preview releases which then get rolled up into monthly “B” releases. This enables commercial customers to test all the non-security fixes and features that will be rolled up into the next monthly “B” release. See this blog post for the details on the existing servicing process for Windows 10.

This update only applies to Windows Insiders in the Beta and Release Preview Channels who are on the latest 21H1 release in the Beta Channel or the latest 20H2 release in the Release Preview Channel currently.

This update includes the following improvement:

We are improving the reliability of displaying the candidate list for users of the Input Method Editor (IME).

These Windows Feature Experience Pack updates are delivered to Insiders through Windows Update just like builds and cumulative updates are.

As a reminder – we are testing this new process out with Insiders to deliver new feature improvements to customers outside of major Windows 10 feature updates. Right now, we are starting out with a really scoped set of features and improvements. Over time, we hope to expand the scope and the frequency of releases in the future. Eventually, these Windows Feature Experience Pack updates will get folded into the already existing servicing process for Windows 10 and delivered to customers that way through Windows Update.
