Windows 10: windows 64 bit can't run into windows 32 bit

Hi, first sorry if my English is not good I always install windows by this simple way and I have no problem so far. I extract iso file into one of drive with winrar. For windows 7 and 8 run setup.exe in the root drive and follow steps until that step I want select drive. If I want to replace windows, select windows drive and if I want have Dual Boot select other drive. Boot menu automatically is creating and is include two or more windows that I installed. For windows 8.1 and 10 because I can't select drive by run setup.exe in root folder, I run setup.exe into sources folder like you.
Just two issues. One that windows 64 bit can't run into windows 32 bit and two that older version can't install by way of newer version.
But Except two issues for other cases is best. Now I want to know your Opinion for this.
is this way correct for installing windows?

There are some exceptions, but almost all programs that ran under Windows 7 will also run under Windows 10. The major exceptions are some utilities and some games.

Also note that regardless of the version or versions of Windows, a 32-bit program can run under 64-bit Windows. However the reverse is not true--a 64-bit program can not run on 32-bit programs.

Note that that last sentence does *not* say that a program that was running on 64-bit Windows can not run on 32-bit Windows. If it was a 64-bit program running on 64-bit Windows it can not run on 32-bit Windows, but if it was a 32-bit program running on
64-bit Windows, it *can* run on 32-bit Windows.

 

Windows 10 pro 64 bit

Is your laptop 32 bit CPU or 64 bit . If your laptop is a 32 bit you will be unable to run Windows 10 64 bit. The reason I ask is that you upgraded from a 32 bit Windows 7 to 32 bit Windows 10. If it is 64 bit you can run a 32 bit

version of Windows but not the other way.

 

Yes, that is the correct way, but you must stay at the same bit level (32 or 64) and the same version (pro, home, "N", or single language). Also, to get the free upgrade and activation of Windows 10, you must upgrade the existing operating system that you run setup.exe from.

 

Thanks. Yes I notice these limitations. But my main debate is that this way is easier than the under way in terms of Technical If we do not want use the free upgrade and no problem with version or bit:

Let me ask this....what is your final goal that you want to achieve?

 

First, notice the difference between the way that I explain in the first post and that explained way.
Is clear my Explanation? For example I'm not created a new partition or mount the ISO.
Now if the above action is correct I think this is easier.

First, do you have a full system backup that you can restore if something goes wrong? If not, I would highly suggest you make one.

Now, if you want just Windows 10, and Windows 10 only, then download the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool (and use the one for the current bit level that you have, 32 or 64) and select the "upgrade this PC now" option. It will then do everything pretty much automatically and you end up with Windows 10 for free, fully activated.

If you want Windows 10 in addition to the operating system that you have now and dual boot - it is more complicated.

1. You have to make an empty space or partition on your hard drive to hold it.
2. You have to make a bootable USB or DVD with the Windows 10 installation files on it (from the ISO)
3. You have to boot the computer from the USB or DVD.
4. In Setup, you will pick Custom Install.
5. Pick the empty space or partition to install Windows 10 to and let it install.

You should end up with dual booting between your old operating system and Windows 10. In this case, Windows 10 will NOT be activated and it won't activate until you do a upgrade like if you wanted Windows 10 only by upgrading. Unless you buy a Retail version of Windows 10 for $199US.
