Yes they did as long as it was within 30 days. MS is NOT using Windows 10 to spy on anyone. They are NOT the government anymore than Google is and Google uses the data they collect for marketing research and Google Chrome now has a 60% market share of Browsers. MS wants that or a higher share on The OS market. Windows 10 is already way ahead of Windows 8 or 8.1 but still behind Windows 7. A few more months and they will be ahead of all of them.

I think most Win 7 and 8 users are holding off for the first few months to see bugs worked out of it . MS really needs to make removing apps easier for people , the biggest complaints i here from people is the pita it is to remove things they don't want .

Every app should be easy to uninstall and not grayed out while others are easier to remove . Needing to use powershell is a disgrace and those powershell commands do not always work . I have a thread in the system apps section to prove it that nobody knows how to fix apparently.

The people i talk to would have much less of an issue with Win 10 if those issues were fixed.

Can't you stop telling ppl not to talk about privacy, it's a big issue and still ignored by ms.. I don't care if your privacy isn't that important to you but sadly it is to ppl who are concerned about it.

I think that Lee was being sarcastic and not trying to insult anyone. Some people here need to lighten up a bit. *Wink

Well, after re-installing my old Win-7 clone drive and ran the speed test I find that the WiFi hardware must have taken a small dump and runs 10% speed. I even turned on my faster Netgear router but speed stayed the same. So, instead of messing with it I ordered an el-cheap-o WiFi USB guy and that should solve that problem. Win 10 looks better all the time now. Until...........

After installing the new WiFi gadget it works great so I'll study Win 10 a while longer. Guess my laptop WiFi card went south.
