    Hi All,


    I hope you can help.


    Our company previously used the old MS MAK licensing however, about 6 months ago we moved to Windows CSP licensing. We were originally told that machines using the old MAK keys won't be effected and will continue to work. Just over a month ago machines started to pop up with the counterfeit message saying that it is no longer activated. Our plan moving forward is to install Exchange and begin using Azure AD with CSP licensing. I need to start upgrading our machines from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and then enter a trial key (for 3 months which will cover us for the period of moving to Azure AD), I've successfully upgraded about 6 machines so far and entered the key after it had upgraded to Windows 10. I have one machine however, that won't accept the trial key and continues to return the message:


    "Windows reported that no product key was found on your device. error code 0xc004f213"


    It will not let me activate it which is becoming very frustrating, I've read in some places people saying it's not possible but the fact I've already done this on a few machines makes me believe it is.


    If I run "slmgr /upk" from an elevated command prompt followed by "slmgr -ipk trial-product-key" it claims to be activated but the actual activation window through Start > Settings > Activation still remains inactive.


    Can anybody shed some light on this please?
