Windows 10: Windows 7 Hardware Remove sound delay

So i just downgraded my laptop from Windows 10 to Windows 7. It's pretty normal and good, until i realized when i unplugged my Keyboard/Mouse the Hardware Remove sound delays, but the Hardware Insert sound is normal. I tried to plug and unplug my Flashdisk, and it doesn't delay. The Hardware Remove sound does not delay and the Hardware Insert also not delayed. The driver was properly installed and have no problems. So, what should i do and is it normal?

Hd detected as removable device after upgrade to windows 10 from windows 7

I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

I suggest you to follow the steps below

Step 1:

• Run Disk Management. Open Run Command (Windows button +R) a dialog box will open and type "diskmgmt.msc".
• In the Disk Management screen, please check what the device appears like.

Also try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 2 : Run hardware and Device troubleshooter

5. Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.

6. Click on troubleshooting, then click on “Hardware and sound”.

7. Under Hardware and sound, click on “hardware and devices”.

8. A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

Windows notification sound is delayed

Whenever windows plays a notification sound, it's delayed, by up to 2 seconds. This is extremely annoying.

Steps I already tried:

• Verified that all drivers are up to date
  
• Reinstalled Windows
  
• Verified there are no Windows Updates left to be installed
  

What works is the following:

• Go to device manager, find the Realtek audio device
  
• Uninstall it removing the driver as well
  
• Search for newly installed devices, an Intel Audio device will be found
  
• Click on it, choose install drivers automatically
  
• Audio device works again, without any delay
  

This lasts until the next reboot d'oh

Can somebody provide me with a script which does the steps above on every windows start? I doubt somebody is able to fix this in a proper way

Here's how I'm circumnavigating the issue.

1. Open command line

2. use: "pnputil /enum-devices /class MEDIA" and look for the device ID of "Realtek Audio"

3. Create a batch file as below, and update the id

4. Go to task scheduler, and create a task which runs the batch file on startup

5. This will uninstall the device forcefully, and start a scan which reinstalls it on startup

Sidenodes:

• Using pnputil with the restart parameter doesn't work
  
• Using pnputil with disable device and enable device afterwards also doesn't work
  

I'm still very curious, how only an uninstall of the device resolves the issue.
