Windows 10: windows 7 key upgrade actvication

hello all, I currently have windows 11 on my pc from a windows 7 key. i read that the upgrade has ended . what i was wondering about is that if the pc storge device died or changed motherboard, will those windows 7 keys still be honored since those key been used to upgrade to windows 10later 11.

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.

 

Windows 7 key question

I got a key from MSDN Acidemic and i have a AIO i made.

I also have a retail windows 7 upgrade disc.

Can I used the MSDN key for the 7 upgrade and it work correctly?

 

Anyone can upgrade to Windows 8 Pro for $14.99.

Microsoft cracked down on the upgrade requirements you now need a windows 7 key OEM or Retail but the code its self needs to be one they listed in there upgrades system, So old keys wont work.
