    I'm attempting to solve a connection problem I have with my Ubuntu 22.04 VM and my old Windows 7 Pro laptop which I pulled out of months of being moth-balled. The Ubuntu VM is running SMBCLIENT 4.15.13. When I run the client CLI to make a connection to Windows is fails.running with debug level 4 and the "-N" option to indicate not to use a password> smbclient -L windows_7 -N -d4result:SPNEGO login failed: The request is not supported. session setup failed: NT_STATUS_NOT_SUPPORTED My AI query responded with the following:I address the security policy as describe above, but I still have the

    Is there any alternative to NPPasswordChangeNotify in windows10 to support SSO

    Hello Team,

    We have a windows native application developed on C++ technology, which supports SSO feature since the beginning of Windows XP by

    Implementing a Credential Manager    . Since Windows 7, SSO functionaly is breaking when user changes the password because NPPasswordChangeNotify api is not supported beginning with Windows Vista and Windows
    Server 2008.

    Is there any alternative api to NPPasswordChangeNotify to get notification when user changes the password.

    1. Which version and edition of Windows 10 is installed on the PC?
    2. Is the PC connected to a Domain Network?

    If the PC is connected to a Domain Network, then suggest you to refer to this article to check if that helps.

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
