Windows 10: Windows 7 Spider Solitaire on 1607

    Can anyone get this (and the other Windows 7 games like minesweeper etc) to work any more?

    It worked fine on 10586 but no more...

    Upgrading to windows 10 unable to download windows 7 version spider solitaire.

    I had spider solitaire on windows 7. after upgrading to windows 10 unable to download windows 7 version to windows 10.

    i just upgraded to windows 10 from windows 7 but it seems to have deleted my favorite spider solitaire game . how do i get my old spider solitaire game back?

    Windows 7 Spider Solitaire on 1607

    I think that those games no longer work. A bit ago I tried them in an insider build and I didn't get them to work.

    I wonder what others have to say about this.

    I'm hoping someone might know as I updated my wife's PC today from 10586 to 14393 and she doesn't think 123 Free Solitaire (let alone the store Solitaire) are satisfactory substitutes...

    You can still install the old Windows 7 .msi but the games just close with no error.

    I suppose she (and I) may have to move with the times though - it isn't the year 1999 anymore after all - but we'll see *Smile
