Windows 10: Windows 7 starter "missing operating system"

I was running Windows 7 starter on an Eee PC Asus, tried resetting the computer thankfully I did perform a backup beforehand!, Cancelled during the restore and now I'm getting a "missing operating system" on a black screen. Problem is I can no longer download windows 7 from Microsoft and other sites are being blocked by my antivirus trying to download the iso on another computer external drive. Not such an up to date computer geek so can someone please tell me if I'm missing something, what can I do, is there any option to fix this without purchasing a whole new Windows? I don't think wind

I have windows 7 starter.
and Buffalo NAS
I tried everything recommended on this thread and others on the internet.
But nothing has worked.

Anybody who has got it working! PLEASE step by step instructions.
