Windows 10: Windows 7 Stuck on Español Language Option

Hello,I have a system that when booted up, I see the choose language option. The language chosen is Español and the system is non responsive once this screen is displayed. Please see uploaded file.I can enter the setup/boot options in the BIOS but can't seem to find a legitimate Windows 7 startup file to download. I am aware Windows no longer supports Windows 7 so the plan is to upgrade the OS and save the data. How does one circumvent this issue RE system stuck on language option? Windows 7 Language Pack

That is pretty much it.
MUI packs are only available in the entreprise or ultimate editions of windows 7 (and windows vista).



Your best option is to get a windows copy with your native language and reinstall.

EDIT: Oh, and all versions of windows 8 have MUI packs.

Good and bad news!!!

The good: i've found the language packs (unsure if the English one is the same as the one in Windows Updates, but i think so). There are many other languages for both x86 and x64 systems.

The bad: it's not in CAB file so i can't add it to the Windows 7 Installation.


@ least, it's a step in the right direction.

 

Windows 8.1 update changed the language, can't change back

Maybe, these will help... it seems it is a common enough problem.

Language packs are no longer available after you upgrade to Windows 8.1

• Sign out and then sign back in to finish.
