    Windows 7 to 10 update keeping OS on C and users on D


    It's 1511 10586.71. I don't know what it was the first time I tired. But, whatever Microsoft changed between then and now, it worked this time.

    I didn't have to move anything with this upgrade. My OS is on c: and my user profiles, documents, pictures, videos, etc are on d:

    I read that you try to adapt to the new interface. There are ways to make the interface look similar to Windows 7. Have a look at my posts at the Customization section. You can even change all the ugly flat icons to the nicer Windows 7 or 8 icons.
