Windows 10: windows 7 upgrade advisor

I'm using windows 10 and would like to install windows 7 also , I clicked a hyper link to download windows 7 upgrade advisor provided by a Microsoft MVP but its sending to a download page and nothing else ,,I'm using chrome ,,

how reliable is windows 7 upgrade advisor

I used the advisor, and upgraded from Vista home premium 64 bit to 7 Ultimate 64 on 3 of my rigs with no problems, other that a couple of my older Steam games won't work on it. Most everything else that I had installed on Vista works flawlessly.

Edit: I always do a clean install, but for some reason I decided to try the advisor first this time. I'm glad I gave it a chance!

Ok, I've used Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor (link found in OP) and it was a big help getting me to understand how compatible I am for Win7. The only issue for me was the X-Fi. I was advised to update X-Fi's drivers.

I suggest everyone download and use Win7 Upgrade Advisor to get an idea were you stand. As mentioned earlier I don't think you need to worry about chipset drivers.
