Windows 10: windows 7 , windows 10 , 64 bit , installation of driver for CanonScan Lide scanners

This is not a question but an answer!Because all previous such questions are locked for new answers.It IS possible to install a Canon CanonScan Lide scanner in 64bit windows, be it windows 7 or 10, I have done it many times. I believe it might be the same in windows 11, but I have not personally tried that. What you need is the Canoscan LiDE 60 scanner 64bit driver. and specifically the CNQL60.INF fileyou can manipulate windows to use this file as a driver.I have done it many times for my CanonScan Lide20 scanner in 64bit versions of windows 7 and window 10.The description of the procedure is

Anyone know where I can find a driver for my new Dell 64 bit, Windows 10 computer to run my Canon CanoScan LiDE 200 scanner?

 

CanoScan LiDE 70 scanner is no longer found by Windows 10 64-bit OS

since the most recent update, my CanoScan LiDE 70 scanner is not longer found by Windows 10 64-bit OS. nor does the Feedback App seem to be available.

I have tried reinstalling using Windows 8 Compatibility, as suggested by a Reply from 2015, but that doesn't work either.

how can I get MS to address this situation, as I happen to need the scanner very badly just now.

 

CanonScan LiDE 200 scanner driver for Windows 10, 64 bit Dell computer.

Mfr (Canon) website just says there are no compatible drivers for my CanoScan LiDE 200. When I attempt to download an earlier version (Windows 8.1) the installer gives me an incompatibility message and forces exit. This has been a fine basic flatbed scanner
for my needs and it's a shame to throw it away because of a few lines of code. Please help!
