Windows 10: Windows 8.1 Pro 0x80070057 "The server name or address could not be resolved" Error

Before I get to the 0x80070057 Error, my laptop had been stuck on the blue screen of death saying "Your PC ran into a problem, we'll restart it for you" which was stuck constantly restarting and had recently been fixed. I don't know if that error caused me to have some missing files or not because I can't download anything. Everything ran perfectly fine before I got the blue screen error.I tried searching for this problem online and doing what they asked such as running commands in the command prompt, going to troubleshoot, and changing the properties of the Windows Update feature which was

I have a problem with my laptop. I cannot download anything from the internet, for example: I try to download Foxit Reader from ninite.com. It starts to run and download, but suddenly the screen appears: Download failed, the server name or address could
not be resolved. I have tried to download other apps like: iTunes,... but it doesn't work at all. What should I do now?

Try a clean startup:

Launch System Configuratiion (msconfig)

on the Services tab:

Hide all Microsoft servicesPress the [Disable all] button

on the Startup tab: Press Open Task Manager
Disable all items listed
Close Task Manager
Press [Ok] on the System Configuration window

Restart your machine
Try a manual Windows Update from Settings -> Update and Recovery (not Control Panel)

The issue might be HW related.

A few other suggested fixes were to run wsreset

This might have more affect (works on Win10, not just Win8.x)
Store - Re-register in Windows 8 and 8.1

Try all three and test an update.
