    Windows 8.1 Themes, and Window Style in Windows 10


    So I just installed a fresh copy of Windows 10, but I think the UI's really inconsistent (blend of old and new UI styles). I personally like the UI of Windows 8.1 (The desktop stuff, not the metro) and I'm wondering if there's any way to get it on Windows 10. These "transformation packs" and "WinAero" stuff just seems a little off. Is it possible to port the theme or window manager (dwm.exe) from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 since they are built on the same "base"? Or did someone already do that?

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.

    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
