    How can I rollback 1803?

I cannot be the only person to have lost hundreds of hours of time with the initial conversion from 8.1 to 10 and the subsequent 1511 and 1803 conversions. You can search under Atlanta Southsider if you want to see my personal problems with Windows 10, but that is not the point. I have a degree from the nation’s best known engineering school and years of computer science training. I have gone to Microsoft in all possible ways including this answers forum. I get no answer that works.

I have had to do a complete system recovery from the Windows 7 Backup System updated by File History twice – once after the conversion from 8.1 to 10 and a second time after the 1511 conversion. There needs to be a class action lawsuit against Microsoft for not providing a way to back out major updates to Windows 10. I don’t care what their EULA says. They need to support their customers.

The answers I have gotten here are to go to Updates, view my update history and uninstall updates. That does not work because the 1803 update is not listed. Using DISM from the elevated command prompt, I set the recovery period to 60 days when I was forced to convert but now when I run DISM OSUninstall I get Error 1168.

I would either like Microsoft’s help rolling back 1803 or your help here in this forum going after Microsoft. I have 25 years of legal experience and I can tell you it will be a battle.

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
