Windows 10: windows actiation error code 0xC004F012

hi,


I already had windows 10 preinstalled when I purchased my laptop.

But after one of the windows 10 update, my screen started showing error message on the bottom right corner which said "activate windows"

when I opened settings, it shows error code 0xC004F012.

also, when I hit the troubleshoot it says


"we can't activate your copy of the windows . Make sure you're connected to the internet and try again. if you are still connected to the internet and continue seeing this problem , contact your system administrator for more information."


any solution?

Follow the steps to check if the operating system is activated:

• Press "Windows logo" + "R" from your keyboard.
• Type "Control system" and press Enter key.
• You will get the system properties page. You can check if your operating system is activated.
