Windows 10: Windows acting slow when using the media keys

Hi, so recently some time after bootup when I use the media keys on my keyboard or any other, other Windows programs or functions start acting slow. It doesn't have any problem openning and using other programs but the music popup takes 30+ seconds to show up, the windows icon doesn't show the options and the search bar doesn't work either for a while. Again, this happens at an unspecific time after booting the PC up, it doesn't happen right away.Thanks for the help

nb: It may be to do with your zip code and or post code not being entered

In regard to your DVD Rom drive - go to -control panel/device manager/DVD/CD-ROM drives -make a note of the make and model number Example: Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-215D ATA Device - highlight the device you have installed -press right mouse button-select properties-details-property and select Install Date from the drop down list and let us know this.

Windows Media Player in Windows 10

We suggest you to try this method and check for the issue.

Run the Windows Media Player Settings troubleshooter
and check, if the issue persists.

Follow these steps to run the troubleshooter:

a. Press “Windows key” on your keyboard.

b. Type Troubleshooting and click Troubleshooting under Settings.

c. Now select Programs in the search option.

d. Under Media Player, select Windows Media Player Settings
to run the troubleshooter.

I suggest you to run both Windows Media Player Library and Settings troubleshooter and check.
