Windows 10: Windows acting weird mainly taskbar not interactive

Hey, after starting my computer today i've ran into the issue that whenever i click on the windows button or the search menu on my taskbar nothing happens. i am able to left click on icons and they open up but they still show up as if they weren't open on my taskbar and right clicking icons to get the menu to remove them etc doesn't work.in addition to that the taskbar also doesn't hide in full screen games anymore.also using alt-tab looks different from before little grey box which also wasn't the case before.i've already tried restarting windows explorer + restarting my computer and it di

Taskbar acting weird

Hi,

My taskbar is acting weird. I don't know how else to name my problem.

So, usually when we move the mouse on top of an icon on the taskbar (applications that are open) it shows the window in a small box right? So my problem is when I move my mouse on top of an icon the small box comes up and goes, like glitching.

There is another problem with this. When I watch Netflix in fullscreen mode, the progress bar comes up.

It is like a key is being pressed.

My assumption was that some kind of process is running in the background. But I could not find any unusual processes.

I don't know how to describe my problem more. I will be happy to answer any questions.

 

Computer is acting weird

My windows 10 has been acting weird recently and it would randomly open up random apps when im not touching the computer. I have reset it many times it, tried to shut it down than turn it back on but nothing is working.its also virus protected but it still
acts weird.

 

Weird Interactions

I haven't noticed the explorer.exe shutdown issue on any build.
Perhaps it is due to some weird interaction between W10 and some software you have installed (like the faulty context menu entry issue on other versions of Windows).

Apart from the Notification icon glitch on my W10TP b10041 VM, everything else seems to be working OK.
Although I still think that the desktop Window Snapping was better in b9841, I've figured out how to make it work for me.

My only other issues are basically cosmetic ones:

• Twin Control Panels
• The awful (full screen) Start Menu transparency
• The horrible "All Apps" setup
• The lack of Personalization adjustments to tame the diamond white theme

I'm seriously considering running LM17.1 more often, so that I can use the W10 VM more often too.
I've only installed a few programs, but they seem to be running properly.
It might be time to "up the ante". *Nerd
