Windows 10: Windows Activation 0xC004F074

I bought my Windows 10 AMD PC from a custom builder on eBay. It didn't occur to me at the time that I never saw any documentation on if my version of Windows 10 Pro was valid or not. Just yesterday about 25 months from when I activated initially I began to get this activation error. I bought software to recover the key, but it doesn't match the last characters of the key displayed in the settings activation screen. The key this software recovered is not being recognized when I try to input it in the Settings app. This isn't the first problem I've had with this machine that's led me to quest

Windows 10 Activation (Error code: 0xC004F074)

Hi,

I am having trouble activating my copy of Windows 10 on one of my laptops. This copy was obtained from another laptop I previously owned and I did follow the steps suggested Microsoft to get and install Windows legitimately. Windows 10 was installed on the
new laptop, however, there is a watermark note that appears on my screen near the notification corner and reads "Activate Windows Now". I did some troubleshootings here and there and entered the product key again. But, the product has not been activated. I
got a message that reads:

"We can't activate Windows on this device as we can't connect to your organization's activation server..... Error code: 0xC004F074"

It sounds so weird to me to get this message knowing that the copy of Windows I currently have was from my old laptop... Not from an organization.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this issue?
