    Windows Activation after adding RAM?


    I have been using Acer Predator Helios 300 and I recently bought Acer Predator Helios 16 which came inbundled with windows 11 Home edition and 16 GB RAM. I upgraded to windows 11 pro and activated successfully and later added 16 GB RAM making total of 32 GB RAM. I will be also adding 1 TB SSD more later on. But After upgrading my RAM messaged poped up asking to Activate windows. What caused the problem to activate windows again. I do have the Serial Key with me.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    To RAM or not to RAM...

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
