    Windows Activation after Recovery fails


    Hi,Due to some hard disk corruption issues, i was needed to recover my windows operating system. In the Recovery option, i selected the option to get the OS from network, which installed the Windows 10 Home edition, whereas i had Windows 10 Home Single Language Edition installed prior to my recovery. Now after the recovery installation, i am not able to activate my Windows 10, i tried some of the provided solutions of trouble-shooting and other in the community answers similar to the thread and understood that the issue is because of the change in the Windows edition.Now, since i have logged i

    Data Recovery for Mac (OSX Capitan) ?

    Anybody knows of a good data recovery software for mac? Preferably free?

    I use Active@ Data Recovery for Windows, but honestly no idea what to use for Mac OSX.

    Any suggestions?

    When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

    Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

    I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.
