Windows 10: Windows Activation Is No Longer Active and Cannot be Reactivated

Edition: Windows 11 HomeVersion 23H2OS Build 22631.4037Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1027.0A few days ago the Windows Activation watermark appeared.I've attempted the following the remove the watermark.1. Settings -> Activation -> Troubleshoot Error Code 0x800101052. Setting -> Activation -> Product Key After recovering the product key with a third party application Error Code 0xc00000223. Command Prompt as Administrator -> SFC /scannow This successfully repaired files and I rebooted to the same issue4. DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /Restor

Windows Activation?

Windows will do this if it detects a significant (their word, questionable use) hardware change, and will ask you to reactivate.

After a key has been activated X number of times, you will have to call to activate it.

Couple of tips for the phone call: You can use your keypad, and when they're telling you keys, instead of saying "Repeat that" and "Continue" type 1 and 2. With these tips, that activation call will only last you about 4 and a half minutes.

 

Windows 7 Activation Problem

is it if you reuse an activator or if its already activated??

because i didnt get any error telling me i have to reactivate it.
and ive had no problems with any microsoft attempt at trying to make it not work.

MS recently released an "anti-hack" update that makes the OS immune to activators, etc. Sometimes genuine users get such activation prompts reactivation fixes it.
