    Windows activation troubleshooter is not listing my device, cannot reactivate


    I have a PC, which has had a Windows 10 Pro license activated. My PC is a dual boot system with Windows 10 and Hackintosh macOS Big Sur. Both are installed in UEFI mode. Now it seems that the latest macOS upgrade from Catalina to Big Sur did something to UEFI setup also on Windows side, and my Windows 10 activation is gone and Windows tells that Windows is not activated. There is however my product key listed in Settings/Activation view, but it is not OK anymore.


    When I do Activation troubleshooting the troubleshooter is not listing this PC at all. Or yes, it is listed, but under "Windows is not activated" title and I can't select my PC from there.


    I'm logged in with the same MS outlook.com account, which I used to originally activate the Windows in this same PC.


    Error code 0xC004C060 is the code, which I'm getting.


    Has anyone experienced similar problems? I'm 99,9% sure that dual boot + macOS + UEFI is the cause for this.

    Can't reactivate Windows and my device isn't listed in troubleshooter

    I just change my motherboard and try to reactivate my Windows 10 Pro since i have digital license. But i got error 0x803F7001 and when i try to troubleshoot my device isn't listed there although it's listed on My Device page in my Microsoft account page.

    Am i can still able to activate my Windows 10 license? Please advise me on this issue. Thank you.

    Hi,

    With regard to your query, the error code 0x803F7001 means that a valid license couldn't be found to activate Windows on your PC. Please follow the steps below to activate Windows 10:

    • Press the Windows keys and select Settings
      > Update & security >
      Activation      .
    • If you have a valid product key, select Change product
      key, and then enter the 25-character product key.
    • Reboot the PC for the changes to take effect.

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
