Windows 10: Windows Administrator problem, bitlocker problem, younameit problems

My laptop and 1 of my desktops are completely screwed up as a result of the most recent Win10 update. I managed to fix the desktop, but the same actions have not fixed my laptop.


Even though my HP laptop User Account says I am an Administrator, the computer will not let me do anything that requires an Administrator. This means I can't even run troubleshooting that you don't even need Administrator privileges for.


OneDrive would not start up, but I finally just got it going after 3 days of research.


I cannot access my Drive C: OR my recovery drive D:. Drive D: does not even appear!. I cannot find my Bitlocker Recovery Key. Seems you have to be an Administrator to find it. Contrary to everything everyone says, Microsoft.com doesn't have it. When you search the MS site it tells you it's on your account, but it isn't. Why can't you just provide a link either to it or where it is supposed to be??


There are other problems, but I think those are the main 2 problems.


Please respond. It's almost been a week.

• Which edition of Windows 10 is installed on your surface machine?
  
• Did you notice any changes on the computer recently?
  
• When you say, you have a problem with your Surface machine about BitLocker key, do you mean that the surface machine asks you to enter the BitLocker key to allow you to sign into Windows?
  
• Does the other computer ask you to enter the BitLocker key to allow you to access the files saved on it?
  

If you are being asked to enter a BitLocker key to sign into your surface machine and you don’t remember your BitLocker key, you can follow the instructions given in the link below to find the BitLocker recovery key.

I had a problem with the windows installer getting stuck and shutting down, here's the fix they sent me:

An issue with the Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP) client in Windows 7 beta is causing Explorer and some MSI-based installers to stop working properly.

To solve this problem, follow these steps:

1. Click the Start button , click All Programs, and then click Accessories.

2. Right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. In the User Account Control window, verify that Program name is Windows Command Processor, and then click Yes.

3. In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type or paste the following text at the prompt:

reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\DisabledSessions /va /f

Press Enter to install the solution.

If "The operation completed successfully" displays, close the "Administrator: Command Prompt window" to complete this procedure. If "ERROR: Access is denied" displays, repeat this procedure from the top, making sure you clicked Run as administrator in step two.
