Windows 10: Windows allowing to delete default folders Documents, Desktop and etc

windows is not preventing the access to delete these default folders and if the downloads default folder gets deleted shown above , it could cause some serious problems and i won't be able to download any files, save documents and etchow do i change this so windows doesn't allow access to delete?before for all these folders show in the pics above , "full control" and "modify" had permissions denied and permissions couldn't be allowed to set it to "Full control" and "Modify"how do i fix all of this???

I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

Step 1:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Download folder.
• Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

Step 2:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Documents folder.
• Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.

Trouble deleting a folder

Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

Will I be forever stuck with these unnecessary folders? *Oh Well hwell:

 

Is it ok to delete all the files/documents in temporary folder(Temp)?
