    Windows Always Not Responsive For No Reason - Suspect It Is Windows Explorer


    Hi all,


    I have a latest version of Windows 10 Pro, but recently my Windows has this very annoying error.


    It tends to hang / not responsive for no reason. This happens very frequent like 3-5 times a day!


    These are the symptoms:

    - Play Spotify, when freeze, spotify came out weird repeated song check the video. Windows explorer still running but weird, you can't do anything.

    - Play Netflix Apps, when freeze, the picture just stuck there but the audio is on. Same as above, Windows Explorer still running, but can't do anything.

    - When leave it idle, it froze and you can't use the PC at all

    I have contacted Microsoft Support, they did check my hardware via CMD sfc scannow and all is fine. Even I ran all the troubleshoots all is fine. I check the event viewer, nothing came up as error before the issue happen. I did reinstall the Windows but keep the application, still doesnt fix.


    Anyone else having this issue? It kinda frust me out.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    Windows Explorer Replacement?

    are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer

    I don't use Internet Explorer, I meant the thing where you can look at files etc. Hotkey Windows+E. Maybe it's the wrong name in english though. *Stick Out Tongue Windows Always Not Responsive For No Reason - Suspect It Is Windows Explorer :p
