Windows 10: Windows and Applications are not responsive after Updating

Installed 27.06.24May 14, 2024-KB5037591 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 and Windows 11, version 23H2It all started when the update installed itself in sleep mode again it has happened quite often for the last year. When I woke the computer up, there was a warning about the update on the screen something like reboot now, later, or change the date none of

Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 Application Compatibility Update

Would have been nice if they indicated which applications were actually improved as opposed to just hard or soft blocked.

 

Explorer.exe, Werfault.exe, RuntimeBroker.exe (application errors). start wont come up and application errors wont go

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID (windows 10)

Thank you for the update and I apologize for the delay in response.

It must be difficult when things do not work as expected.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to check whether the applications are compatible or not from the manufactures website. If these applications are compatible, I suggest you to run the application in compatible mode and check if it helps to
resolve the issue.

Please follow the below steps:

• Right click on the Program
• Click on Properties
• Click on Compatibility tab
• Select Run this program in compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list.
