Windows 10: Windows and Office reset after machine restart

After any reboot, windows 10 seems to be factory reset. Loose background picture, mail settings, application browser defaults. How do I avoid?

When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it

Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.

• The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.
