Windows 10: Windows and shift key have a weird behaviour.

When I click the Windows key on my keyboard nothing happens, when I do it twice, Start shows.When I click the Shift key, it holds until I click another key on my keyboard.What's going on? It's really frustrating because I'm not used to that and I not like it.Thank you in advance!Windows version 10.0.22631 Build 22631

Weird behaviour from keyboard and various software

Running Windows 10 on a desktop. Replicated with different keyboards. All of this happened yesterday

1. Shift key in Firefox causes LEAVE PAGE. But no effect in OpenOffice

2. Typing an entry into File Explorer tries to autocomplete but flashes the title and won't allow deleting characters unless Shift Key is held down
3. Hovering over the folder list in File Explorer causes scroll down which stops if the shift key is held down. On the body causes scroll left

4. Same behaviour on Start Screen
5. Holding the Ctrl key without a plus sign causes zoom in office

6. All drop down menus in FIREFOX and other apps appear for an instant then vanish and can't be accessed

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

  Click Troubleshooting. Click Run programs made for previous versions of Windows.
  
• 
  Click next, select Not Listed. Click Next.
  
• 
  Click Browse and select the installer that you downloaded using the link above.
  
• 
  Click next, click Troubleshoot program.
  
• 
  Check The program worked in earlier versions of Windows but won't install or run now box.
  
• 
  Click next, select the last known working operating system for this driver.

For Visual Studio.

I suggest you to install the Visual Studio in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below on how to install software in compatibility mode:

1. Download the software from the manufacturer’s website and save it on your local disk.

2. Right click on the setup file of the software and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

4. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select operating system from the drop down list.

5. Let the software install and then check the functionality.

Both shift keys

Hello.
I have problem with Lenovo Idea Pad 100 laptop (OS: WIN10). After replacing HDD into SSD I faced a strange problem. Both Shifts of the keyboard doesn‘t work .
I have tried to:

• Check if sticky keys are off. They are off.
• Connect external keyboard via USB port. Shift keys on external keyboard works good.
• Check the keyboard on online tester which indicates pressed buttons. It can‘t indicate press of the shift
• Change several different input languages. The problem is on all of them.
• Reinstall keyboard driver
• Check if connection is OK. It is OK.
• Tried to run computer without screws (I have read in one forum that screws could touch the keyboard from the bottom and it wouldn‘t operate normal)

I believe that keyboard is not damaged because connector damage could cause just exact part of keyboard failure, while it is impossible to do physical damage for both shifts. Any solutions?
