Windows 10: Windows Anniv wants to update an update that i already installed

    Windows Anniv wants to update an update that i already installed


    A few days ago I updated my system to Win Anniv 1607 using an ISO disc. Today I have the same? update showing up in my Update Status. It is KB3176929. I selected defer updates for now, but why does this show up? I don't want to do this again because I had to do a clean boot to get it to work before and it screwed up some of my files. I saw some update fixes online, but I don't want to roll this back or affect my current system.

    Update wants to update to 1607... I already installed it two days ago.

    REPOSTING => Is KB3176495 and/or KB3176930 offered when you run a manual check for updates now and if so, will the update(s) successfully install?

    Windows Anniv wants to update an update that i already installed

    Turns out the update was FOR the installed 1607 build and not to upgrade to the 1607 build.
