    I cannot believe that I have spent the last two hours trying to find a number to call for the answer desk subscription that I just paid $143 on July 3, 2021.How can I talk to a live person for help on windows 10 using this subscription?

    You forgot to say which "techs at answer desk" you're talking about, but it doesn't really matter. They could be working for any company and be located in any part of the world so let's leave race and national origin out of this.

    The problem is two-fold. First, people who really understand the technology and know how to explain it well are not easy to find and they won't work for peanuts. If you want excellent technical support, be ready to pay for it.

    Second, if this forum is any example, most people who call on technical support really need an education in how to use a computer properly. An answer desk can't do that (nor can a community forum) and why should they when the internet is filled with detailed
    instructions, tutorials, blogs, etc.

    So unless you're willing to pay, what you'll get are third-party contractors reading from scripts and reference books. If that doesn't work for you then it's it time to step up and do the research on your own, which will be more satisfying because you'll
    actually learn something. And once you actually learn something you'll wonder why you bothered calling the answer desk in the first place.
