Windows 10: windows antivirus not allowing easy anticheat to run. i have to turn off core isolation so...

I want to play Sea of Thieves and I have to turn off memory integrity in core isolation in Windows Defender.easy anti cheat is the issue and it is detecting it as an incompatible driver. with Fortnite it works fine and any other game that uses easy anti-cheat except for Sea of Thieves how can I resolve this issue? I have tried messing with the easy anti-cheat myself and they don't have a very good support page either so I'm lost on optionsI would think you need to update the driver maybe but I just cant figure out how

It looks like the .reg file in step 2 of Option Two in this tutorial worked to turn on Core isolation for you.

Correct, you could use step 3 to turn it off.

 

Core isolation not turning on

I am running a AMD build with windows 10 and had my core isolation on prior. I downloaded an update on a driver for my Elgato game capture and now my Core isolation will not turn back on.
